If you are feeling stressed or anxious, you are not alone. Here are some things you can do:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><section class=\"wp-classic\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section><section class=\"wp-core-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Connect with CMHA <\/strong>\u2013 Reach out to your <a href=\"https:\/\/bc.cmha.ca\/about-cmha\/cmha-locations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">local CMHA branch.<\/a> Many branches offer services to help you take care and feel less alone. In particular, thanks to a grant from the Canadian Red Cross, <a href=\"https:\/\/bc.cmha.ca\/branches\/cmha-south-cariboo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CMHA South Cariboo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bc.cmha.ca\/branches\/cmha-prince-george-quesnel-office\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CMHA Northern BC<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bc.cmha.ca\/branches\/cmha-cariboo-chilcotin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CMHA Cariboo Chilcotin<\/a> branches are offering a range of education workshops and courses. The latter two branches are also offering extra counselling services for those affected by environmental disaster stress.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section><section class=\"wp-classic\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section><section class=\"wp-core-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Prepare<\/strong> \u2013 Having a clear emergency plan and kit ready for your family, pets, and livestock can ease your mind and allow you to focus on other needs.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section><section class=\"wp-classic\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section><section class=\"wp-core-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Take care<\/strong> \u2013 Stress takes a toll on our physical and mental health. Eating well, exercising, and getting enough sleep lowers stress and helps us cope.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section><section class=\"wp-classic\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section><section class=\"wp-core-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ask for help<\/strong> \u2013 Talking helps. Whether it\u2019s with family, friends, a doctor or counsellor. Crisis lines are available to listen and help anytime\u2014not just during a crisis. If you have been evacuated, you can also ask an <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/gov\/content\/safety\/emergency-management\/local-emergency-programs\/volunteers\/emergency-support-services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Emergency Support Services<\/a> volunteer about the mental health or counselling support available to you.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section><section class=\"wp-classic\"><div class=\"container\">\n\n<\/div><\/section><section class=\"wp-core-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Help others<\/strong> \u2013 Reach out to the vulnerable.
