In this session, participants will learn how to effectively approach challenging discussions that arise in professional settings using Non-Violent Communication (NVC). In the workplace, and in life, the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence is essential in order to advocate for one’s own needs and to articulate one’s opinions, recommendations, and feedback. This webinar will guide participants through an understanding of what makes speaking up so difficult, and offers key strategies and tools to better understand how to let one’s needs and values be known in a productive manner. We will explore the importance of self-awareness, empathy, and how to use NVC in order to create a safe environment for dialogue. Participants will leave with practical skills offering more psychological permission and a highly effective framework that supports how to speak up.
