Learning Circles: Indigenous Perspectives on Conflict Resolution

Young Indigenous man talking clearly and having a disagreement with a friend.

Learning Circles: Indigenous Perspectives on Conflict Resolution is part of a video series exploring Indigenous perspectives on psychological health and safety in the workplace.

Created to support employers and workers across BC’s tourism and hospitality industry, this series is a partnership between Len Pierre Consulting, go2HR, and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).

In this session, we explore Indigenous and trauma informed approaches to conflict resolution, including three practical principles that support psychologically safer workplaces:

  • Staying calm and grounded
  • Assuming good intent
  • Creating space for dialogue and shared decision making
